The Herald named Mia Walker its Prep Athlete of the Week. Cascade nation showed up — every vote, every text, every share. And one week later, the Wesco coaches named her 2nd Team All-Conference. Some week.

The same month The Herald named her Athlete of the Week, the Wesco 4A coaches named Mia to the All-Conference 2nd Team — the league's year-end honor, voted by the people who actually have to face her in the circle.
